Deadlines for Events - how can we improve?

    Hi Members!

Every month there are people that scramble at the last minute and miss the deadline for registering for the event. We are all very busy and it is sometimes difficult to ensure we get our registration in. I know, I have that challange too!

At the same time, the KWIB executive is bounded by the deadlines given to us by the venue for registration.

Please, tell us what you think about the email notifications, and if you have any suggestions that would make it easier for you to sign-up before it is too late.

Post up a response, and tell us what you think!

For me, it would be great to get an email notification a few days before registration closes ... saying "last chance to register, or registration for the upcoming event closes in two days" and to have that on the email subject line too.  As I think we all remember the event date but don't remember that the registration closes a few days prior to the event. Thanks!!

I definitely agree re. the email and Mail Chimp is a great way to go.  In addition, it would be useful to use Survey Monkey send out a survey after to find out what people liked and didn't like about the topic.  At that time, you could do a save the date reminder.  I believe that if you send out reminders for calendars on Gmail - you can automatically update your google calendar and even put in a reminder of 24 hours before or whatever works for you.

Hope everyone is enjoying the beauty of the area we live in.

Thank you for posting! We are in the process of getting a survey to send out after the events.
Also, we do have a notification email that is sent out as a reminder, hopefully they are eye catching so we will all have that chance to sign up.

    Thanks for your input!
